Sherardize UK Christmas Charity Vote

As you may be aware, instead of sending Christmas cards, we decided to make a donation to charity – and asked you to vote on our selection of 3 different causes. The three we chose are:

makeawishMake a Wish
exists for one reason – to grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions.

Whether it’s starring in their own films, walking with dinosaurs, going on an amazing holiday, meeting a celebrity hero, or having a life-changing bedroom makeover; our wishes are varied, personal and, most importantly, magical.

Alder Hey Children’s Charity provides vital funds to help make Alder Hey in the Park a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital – making a crucial difference to the 275,000 patients and families who we care for at Alder Hey every year.

RainbowtrustRainbow Trust supports over 25% of the 6,000 families in England who have a child aged 0-18 years of age with a life threatening or terminal illness and need the bespoke support we offer.

They support the whole family 24/7, 365 days a year, regardless of diagnosis and your support, as with all f this year’s charities is really appreciated.

We have had a great response over Christmas. Thank you very much to everyone who took part.

The votes are now all in and counted. Here are the results:

  • Rainbow Trust – 21%.

  • Alder Hey – 37%

    and the narrow favourite:

  • Make a Wish – 42%

Each charity will benefit as we are donating to all with the total donation divided in proportionate to the votes.

We and they thank you for your support.
